MEMBER SERVICES
Membership Services offers a variety of services for Individual Members and Group Members.
Individual Membership
Individual Membership is open to all people with cerebral palsy, their parents/family members as well as professionals/supporters who have an interest in the welfare of persons with cerebral palsy. Individual members who have cerebral palsy are eligible to apply for funding assistance from OFCP for equipment, vacation and community based day programs.
Being a Member, you are entitled to apply to the OFCP for various type of funding; you can receive OFCP mailouts including the newsletter; and those over 18 years of age get to vote at General Meetings.
To become a member is easy; just print off our Membership Application, fill it out and send it in!
Group Membership
Group Members of OFCP are non-profit organizations who provide services to people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities in their communities. Services for Group Members include:
- Support to members to expand services for people with cerebral palsy in their community;
- Support to community groups/agencies that want to become a member of the OFCP;
- Access to a flexible insurance with coverage for officers & directors, property, fleet, and general liability;
- Access to a Group Benefits Plan for agency staff with coverage for medical, dental, life, long-term disability, customized to the needs of each member;
- Access to printed materials, publications and video library;
- Eligibility for Provincial & Housing funds;
- OFCP keeps members informed of new government initiatives, and provide collective input to it. We liaise with government regarding expansion of services & common concerns of Members. We also provide support to various coalitions and work groups;
- Voting privileges at the OFCP Annual Meeting.
